Surcharges:
While our pricing does not change, there are additional fees for the following:
We may require an additional fee if:
1. We must remove items up or down a stairway or through a difficult pathway.
2. Small items, trash, or construction debris is not in bags or boxes ready for removal. Or if we need to disassemble or demolish an item before we can haul it away.
3. We must handle very heavy items or hard-to-handle items such as commercial refrigeration, exercise equipment, piano, or a hot tub.
Items we typically cannot take with us:
- Car Fluids like Oil, Gasoline, and Antifreeze
- Biohazard Cleaners
- Herbicides and Pesticides
- Wet Paint
- Pressurized Containers
Although we typically do not take these items with us, we can direct you to locations throughout Orange County that will accept these items for free. Find a location where to take these items.

How we price our removal services.
The more we take, the less you pay per volume. You can determine how much we can take in our trucks and the pricing incurred by using the junk removal simulation above. The pricing does include dumping fees. We do all the work for you; you just need to tell us what you want gone and we take care of the rest.
There are circumstances where we may need to adjust the original estimate and here is why. There may be more items than were included in the original estimate. Once the professionals arrive on site, they will look over all items and provide a final estimate to haul away everything you want removed. We always provide a courtesy sweep of the work area as a thank you for your trust in us.
We bring a 16-foot box truck, much larger than the industry standard of 12. Yes, you pay much less for a lot more space you can fill in our truck. We are family owned and operated and have been in the industry for over 10 years. Our goal is to recycle and donate as much as we can so that you can have a peace of mind that your unwanted items are going to the right places.
Grizzly Junk Removals works with many nonprofits, local schools, realtors, and construction companies in removing dense materials. Dense material such as dirt, snow, concrete, tile, and sand are not included in our pricing above. These materials are very heavy and are priced at $35 per wheelbarrow we haul away. Grizzly Junk Removal cares about our environment
We have not dumped at a landfill in over 9 years!
We recycle up to 100% of your junk! We accomplish this by hand sorting your unwanted goods in our warehouse facility. We then take various types of materials to the proper recycling facilities and donation centers. In fact, we even have our own EarthWise Second-Hand store in the City of Orange! This enables us to repurpose tons of “junk” that would’ve otherwise not have been able to see new life.
What about our trucks?
What good is recycling when the truck that’s doing it is pumping out pollutants all day? That’s what we thought too! As of March 2015 we switched over to Natural Gas powered trucks. We are the only junk removal service in California with clean burning CNG trucks. This is just another way we strive to reduce our carbon footprint, even as we drive between customers and recycling centers.
